Ricardo and Luis are architects and decide to launch their lifestyle brand, based in Lisbon. They were looking for punchy prints. It was a pleasure to work with them and I am delighted with the result!
Mabel first contacted me for a print design project. Although we have never seen each other, the contact was very fluid from the start and it is very pleasant to work with her. She then asked me to "fix" some watch faces that she was preparing for another project: March Hare.
Although I never worked on this kind of project, I loved doing it and the two models released for the first collection are now officially launched!
I met Marie a few years ago when she called me to sell in her shops the silk kimonos she had seen worn by a friend of hers.
She contacted me because she had in mind a celebratory scarf for the 20th anniversary of By Marie, her lifestyle brand. We ended with these two designs: optical and flowers.
I really love the colors she chose, it gives the silk scarves a cozy feel.
The printing factory I recommended for these scarves is the one I normally work with for my scarves. They were perfect as usual!

While working together to create prints for the next collection, Edgardo have asked me to design a print for the tablecloth of his coming soon Capri dinner, celebrating the opening of the island shop.
The second font I’ve designed thanks to iFontMaker. It’s a good version after I first tried in 2009 with much more work (iFontMaker is really easy to use) using my own Minerva letter tracer. It was the only font I tried to design. I hope there will be more others from now on:)

Lockdown oblige… I’m testing new apps on my iPad Pro. They are amazing. I have never been very fond of hand-drawing, but this Adobe Fresco is a revolution for me. Except for the sound, which can easily be solved with some textured sticker of the screen, you actually have a real hand-drawing experience, with the bonus of digital drawing (“command + z” for example). Downloaded Procreate today, wait and see for the crash test :)

Thanks to the help of: iFontMaker, Skillshare and calligraphy teacher Doris Fullgrabe, I created my first font! I've always dreamed of it and the CoVid19 lockdown made it possible :) I can't wait to design others!

Bourrienne is a French brand that designs beautiful luxury white shirts. Cécile, whom I met years ago in a coworking place, wanted a chic and colorful scarf to accompany the shirts.
They gave me a rough design that they made from the magnificent ceiling of the Hôtel de Bourrienne, in the 10th arrondissement, where their offices are located. I adjusted it to make it printable. And then I worked on the color variants.
